The protection of privacy is very important to us. This privacy notice informs you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the use of our website and the functionalities made available through it, such as the possibility of contacting us (hereafter collectively referred to as ‘website’).

 

Responsible party

The website is operated by PPURA GmbH (‘PPURA’), with its registered office at Hugistraße 1, CH 4657 Dulliken, Switzerland. PPURA is responsible for the processing of your personal data. PPURA has appointed Tina Ulmer as its data protection officer.
Categories of data

PPURA processes the following data categories during your use of the website:

Log data, such as your IP address, including details of how our website is requested, such as date and time, status and volume of data transferred, information about the browser you are using (browser type and version number), details of the website accessing our website. PPURA stores this data in a log file for each page accessed. PPURA is not in a position to associate this data to individual, identifiable persons without further additional information, such as information from an internet provider about the subscriber, which is usually not available to PPURA without any specific reason, e.g. suspicion of an infringement of the law.

Cookies to extend the functionality of the website and make it more convenient for your use. These consist of small text files that are stored on your computer. Most of the cookies used by PPURA are deleted from your hard drive after the browser session (session cookies). In addition, PPURA uses what are known as permanent cookies, which remain on your terminal device in order to recognize you when you next visit the website. You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your terminal device by changing the settings in your browser accordingly.

PPURA uses the following categories of data when you contact us using the contact form provided on the website: First name and surname, email address and your request; as well as your address, should you decide to provide it.

 

Privacy policy for the use of social media plug-ins and Google Analytics:

Integration of Facebook:

Social media plugins (‘plugins‘) of the social network Facebook Inc., 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (‘Facebook‘) are integrated on our website. Facebook plugins are recognisable by the Facebook logo or the ‘like’ button on our website. When you visit our website, Facebook receives information that you have visited the website with your IP address. An evaluation of this kind is used in particular to inform other Facebook users of your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these usage profiles, and you need to contact Facebook to exercise this right. PPURA offers you the possibility to interact with the social network and other users via the Facebook plug-in, so that PPURA can improve its service and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the Facebook plug-in is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. We recommend you log out regularly after using Facebook, in particular to avoid the association of your surfing behaviour to your profile as described above. Using Instagram:

Functions of the Instagram service of Instagram Inc., with its registered office at 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA (“Instagram“), are connected to our site. These are recognisable by the colourful logo. When you are logged into your Instagram account, you are able to link or hash tag the PPURA content to your user account. As a result, PPURA receives information and evaluations from Instagram about your usage behaviour on Instagram. PPURA uses this information to improve its service. PPURA has no control over the transmission and use of your data by Instagram and for further information regarding Instagram’s privacy policy, PPURA refers to http://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/. Instagram stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses it for purposes of advertising, market research and/or tailoring the design of its website. Evaluations of this kind are used in particular to inform other Instagram users of your activities. PPURA offers you the possibility to interact with the social network and other users via Instagram, so that PPURA is able to improve its service and make it more interesting for you as a user.

Integration of the services of YouTube
We have included YouTube videos from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, in our website, which are stored on http://www.youtube.com and can be streamed directly from our website. When you visit our website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed a subpage of our website. YouTube stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses it for the purposes of market research, advertising and/or tailoring the design of its website. The data is transmitted regardless of whether YouTube provides a user profile that you are logged in to or whether there is no user account. Should you have a YouTube user account and not want an association to your profile, you need to log out before activating the YouTube button. An evaluation of your usage profile is conducted even for users who are not logged in, in particular for the purpose of providing tailored advertising and to inform other YouTube users about your activities on our website. This site uses web fonts provided by Typenetwork.com to ensure fonts are displayed consistently. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display text and fonts correctly.

PPURA uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’) on its website. Google Analytics uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. Google uses this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for PPURA and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. You can configure your browser software to prevent cookies from being installed. However, PPURA points out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time with future effect. We integrate the maps service of ‘Google Maps’ from the provider Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The data processed may include in particular IP addresses and location data of users, which are not collected without their consent. The data may be processed in the USA. Purpose and legal basis for processing

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of enabling your use of the website, to prevent and correct malfunctions of the website, and to optimise user behaviour.

Should you contact us via the website, PPURA also processes your personal data for the purpose of providing you with the information requested.

The legal basis for the processing is the usage relationship via the website in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR, insofar as PPURA requests your express consent to individual processing at a separate place. You may revoke your consent at any time with future effect by sending an email to posta@ppura.ch.

In addition, your personal data is processed as described below for Google Analytics and the social media plug-ins. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR.

 

Recipient 

Only PPURA employees responsible for the technical administration, maintenance and further development of the website have access to your personal data.

Should you contact PPURA, employees responsible for the processing of the respective transaction also have access to your personal data.

In addition, PPURA employs external IT service companies for the maintenance of its IT systems, which may have access to your personal data within the scope of their activities. The same applies to the hosting provider. In addition, bank employees who manage your and our accounts and employees of Google and the social media plug-in operators may access your personal information as described below. We expressly point out that the manner of data processing by Google and the providers of social plug-ins is outside the area of responsibility of PPURA.

 

Transmission

No personal data is transferred to any third country outside the EU by PPURA except as described below in connection with Google Analytics and the social plug-ins. Any other transmission only takes place when PPURA is legally or officially obliged to do so or when the transmission is necessary within the scope of your use of the website.

 

How long is your personal data stored?

PPURA retains your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the information is collected, including compliance with all legal accounting and reporting requirements.

PPURA takes into account the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which the personal data is processed and other ways to achieve those purposes, as well as other legal requirements in order to determine the appropriate retention period for personal data.

The deletion of your personal data, generated in the context of Google Analytics and the social media plug-ins, takes place as described in the respective data protection declarations of the operators.

 

Your rights

You may contact PPURA either in writing or by email at posta@ppura.ch to assert the following rights:

  • information about your data for checking and verification purposes,
  • receive a copy of your personal data,
  • correction, deletion or limitation of the processing, including the right to rectify incomplete or inaccurate data by means of supplementary communication,
  • right to object to the processing.
  • You may receive the data you provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format and transfer it to another data controller, provided you have given your consent to the processing or the processing is based on a contract.

You also have the right to appeal to a supervisory authority in connection with the processing of your personal data.

 

Why is your personal data collected

PPURA requires your personal data to enable usage of the website. You have the option to refrain from providing your personal data or to provide PPURA with partial information. However, this may result in PPURA not being able to facilitate your use of the website, or not able to do so in full.

 

Automated decision making and profile building

Your personal data are not used by PPURA for automated decision making. Similarly, PPURA does not create profiles from your personal data. PPURA points out that it does not use any identification software itself and that biometric data is not evaluated. PPURA would also like to point out that the use of such software by a social network is not completely excluded. The evaluation of your usage behaviour is effected using Google Analytics and Facebook Custom Audiences.

 

SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. An encrypted connection can be identified by the address line of the browser changing from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

When the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, it is not possible for third parties to read the data you transmit to us.
